A Busy Snow Day
Alex had a snow day today. It ended up being a lot of fun for all 3 munchkins. This is pictures of them making pinecone, peanut butter, bird food, bird feeders. Alex had made one in boy scouts and brought the left overs home for his brother and sister to help with. They're now hanging outside waiting for some cold birds to come get a bite to eat.

Wise words from Max
Today Max was talking about the baby and was refering to the baby as a he. So I said do you think the baby will be a boy. And his reply was, "well, if the baby comes out and it has a penis we will know it's a boy." And then he ran off to play. Truer words were never spoken.

Better Parent Than I
We took down the Christmas tree today. It was a real tree we'd had since the day after Thanksgiving, so there were a few needles to sweep and vaccum. As I went to vaccum I looked out and saw,Randy belly down, feet sticking out of a snowtunnel. The boys had fun with it but Sophia refused to try it out.

First Confession
Alex had his first confession, yesterday. It went well. Max, Sophia, and I were able to be there and Alex went to the priest on the altar and so while we couldn't hear him we could see him. I offered to take a picture of him at the church, but he opted for one at home. So there is his, with his pin, certificate and big I-did-it-smile.

Potty Training
We have started potty training! Between false cries of "potty" by Sophie and tries after accidents it feels as if she and I have been living in the bathroom today. She has a lot of support, anytime she gets a dribble in the toilet her brothers are there cheer her on which is nice to see. I better go - we're off to the potty!

Happy New Year and Merry Christmas!
We were blessed with a terrific Christmas, and a great two weeks in Iowa visiting family and friends. It was so wonderful, none of us wanted to come home. I included a family pic of us, per request of some of you. Pictures of the kids with their cousins, Madison and baby Oliver, Sophia on Christmas morning and the boys wresteling with their Uncle Nick. We hope you all had a great Christmas, too.
