We had a fairly laid back Valentine's Day. We started the day with cinnamon rolls shaped like hearts. I was pleasantly surprised by Valentine's from Alex, Max, and Sophia that they decide to give without any prompting. We read Valentine stories, and ate heart cookies after lunch and supper. The boys came home happy. Max had a fun party at school, and Alex's teacher gave the class free ice cream in honor of the holiday. Randy and I fell asleep in front of the TV on the couch after the kidos were all tucked into bed. Aren't we romantic? :)

Here are our heart shaped cinnamon rolls. Some are more heart shaped than others.:)
These guys have already gobbled up their cinnamon rolls.
Sophia was by far the most excited for Valentine's Day at our house. She flitted around making Valentine's before and after the actual day. On Valentine's Day she picked out her heart dress, pink barrettes (she didn't have any heart ones), and we added not 1 but 2 pink stripes in her hair. She had a great day!
