Fat Tuesday

Alex and Max decided they're giving up dessert for lent, with the exception of Alex's birthday. So we got sundae's from McDonalds to get ready for their 40 days without.

Happy Valentine's Day!

We had a pretty laid back Valentine's Day. The kids started the day by making a big Valentine for Randy (you see in the picture, we took it later in the day after they gave it to Randy). After that we had chocolate chip heart shaped pancakes and now they're watching the Charlie Brown Valentine special. After breakfast Sophia was quietly playing in the other room. I quietly went to see her, expecting she was tucking babies in to go night, night. But instead I found her with Paul's Valentine he accidently left (a sticker Valentine)and , you see the results. Paul and John Micheal

Today we had our friends Paul and John Micheal over. Everyone had lots of fun. Sophia adores Paul, at night when we say our prayers she will usually say, "And bless Paul." Lots of times she also likes to include John Micheal, his dad, his mom and his sisters and brothers. The pictures are of all of them playing together and then my best attempt at a nice picture and a silly picture. (How do professionals do it?)John Micheal has the dark hair and Paul has light hair.

Playdough

We played a little with playdough today. Max is making popcorn chicken and Sophia was making a blob to see how many playdough toys and popcicle sticks she could stick in it.
