Blowing out his candles for his 7th Birthday !

I had wanted to post these pictures of Max blowing out his candles last night, but our internet went ka-put (not just ours but our town and the surrounding area), right in the middle of my post. So here they are! Happy Birthday Max!

Sophia, Henry, Timothy and I took cupcakes into Max's class on Tuesday for his birthday. (I know Monday was his birthday but I'm lame and forgot to ask his teacher if I could bring cupcakes to class. So I asked Monday and we brought them Tuesday.) They are centipedes, ladybugs, spiders and ticks - yum, yum - dig in!:)

My mom's birthday

Last Friday was my mom's birthday (5-20). This year, like many years, we picked Lilly of the Valley and put them in colored water so the little white flowers become striped with the dye from the water. My mom and her grandma did this, my mom and I did this, now in memory of my mom, my kids and I do this.

Swinging

Since Saturday it has been gloomy and rainy, so when it was sunny for a couple hours between the rain today we got out and did a little swinging.

Timmy's 8 months old & other stuff

Timmy is 8 months old today! He has just started eating baby biscuits - which he loves - and has started sitting up. He also never stays in one place any more, between rolling,scooting backwards and spinning in circles, he gets everywhere. We catch him up on his hands and knees at times too, rocking so I would imagine he'll be crawling soon, but you never know. We're in no hurry for him to crawl. :) Everyone is doing well and Max is counting the days until his birthday.

Henry thought it was both important and funny to have me take a picture of his foot.

We had corn on the cob for the first time this year. Yum, yum it was good! :)

Mother's Day

I had a very nice Mother's Day. I didn't do much at all, it was wonderful. The way the day worked out Saturday we went out to eat (it was suppose to be for Mother's Day) and we had a great time. The kids were super-well behaved and we just all had a really nice time together. I told them that was my Mother's Day gift, just a little early. (Then we went out for lunch Sun and it just wasn't the same.:)).

Here's a picture of all my loot. Complete with two flower pots and cards Alex and Max made for me. Some candy they all picked out, Henry especially picked out a chocolate dump truck and Sophia picked out the gummy ka-bob. I love it all! I also got an H&M gift card! So I can shop for myself. :)
