Max's Birthday

Max's actual birthday was busy and fun. He got his gifts from us in the morning. He got a tackel box with the $5 he needed to get his DS he's been saving for. Then he got to buy the DS. He and Alex spent the afternoon at a friend's house and then I'm pretty sure they played DS the rest of the day. (We dropped them off at Kathy and Dale's at the end of the day so we could go out for our anniversary.)

Dirty Feet

Well its a true sign summer is on it's way when the kids' feet are dirty from playing outside. It seemed to me their feet looked blacker than I could capture in the pic, but you still get the point. And Alex's were pretty clean by the time I took this picture as they were in the shower. And Henry's of course are always clean.

Max's Birthday

Max had his birthday party yesterday. He lucked out and everyone he invited was able to come. (l-r Jake, JohnMicheal, Donavan, Alex, Sophia, Max and Paul). It looked like rain so they all played outside for just a bit before it poured (even that is an understatement). Then they came in for cake and a game and just playing. Everyone seemed to have fun.

Henry

Henry turned two months old yesterday. He went to the doctor the day before and he now weighs 8lbs. 11oz. - so he gained 26 oz. in 36 days- which is good. So yeah Henry!

Last Week in Review (5/4-5/10)

Happy Mother's Day! I was treated with flowers from everyone and a beautiful birdfeeder Alex made for me (they even got there own picture you see). Alex also made two cards and a little sign for our bedroom door that says mom. Henry gave me his own little surprise - he somehow mananged to spit up down the inside of my shirt-a lot. Happy Mother's Day to all you other mommies out there too.

Saturday it down poured!!So the kids and I played Sardines (it's like Hide and Seek except each person takes a turn being the hider and the group looks for that person together)for a little bit, while Randy had to work.

Randy and Sophia also grilled in the rain. It didn't really rain too hard. And as Sophia strikes a pose she is using a cup for her hat.

Although you have to tilt your head to see it and peek through Sophia's hair you can see one of Henry's first smiles! (Well we think he's doing it out of joy anyway, instead of gas).
So that was last week - hope this one is going well for all of you!

Yesterday for Cub Scouts we went on a quick fishing trip. Max ended up coming along with us, and a good thing that he did. He caught the first fish, the biggest fish, and the most fish. In other words, he caught the only fish, 3 of them. At one point he commented that "I'm not fishin', I'm catchin'!!"
