Catching You Up

Here's the gang Thanksgiving morning. That day the kids slept in until 7:40 - definitely something to be thankful for. Then we watched the parade, the whole thing. And then went to Dale's sister's, Sally and Shirley's and spent the whole day eating and visiting and eating some more. It was a nice, relaxing day.

Best buds on Thanksgiving morning.

The day after Thanksgiving we got our Christmas tree and decorated it. The kids helped quite a bit. Henry loves the tree, especially our talking Charlie Brown ornament. Some days he stays out of the tree, but most days it's very hard (if he has the chance) to not touch all the ornaments. The Christmas tree is in the front room of the house so thankfully I can gate Henry in the other part of the house away from the tree. We also decorated for Christmas that day, you see Alex helping set up our nativity.

We've gotten a lot of snow this past week, which has resulted in late starts and a day off of school. So Wednesday when the boys were home, they and Sophie played and played and played out in it. Henry stayed inside this time but really wanted his picture taken with Max.

I love that picture of all the kids Thanksgiving morning! I'm also a little jealous of all your snow! Maybe by the time you come to Iowa we'll have some too and I can play outside and take Henry out too. See you all soon - Drive safe!

Wow, Kara! They've all really grown since we left Syracuse! We are keeping a blog as well now. Josh only posts to it when he has a video he wants to share...otherwise with his school schedule, it's all me.

You will have to let Randy know that Josh was bummed that he didn't have time to stop by and see Randy when we came up earlier this month.

Tell Holly I say hi! I miss seeing her cheerful face around the stage! :)
