A weekend at Aunt Kathy and Uncle Dale's cabin

Both our family and the Stiles' family was busy this past summer, because we only made it up to Kathy and Dale's cabin once! Since Alex is now 14 we thought it would be good for him to have a try behind the wheel. He drove down the mile long driveway and really did pretty good.

This is how Timmy felt about Alex driving!

It's always wonderful to be at the cabin. It feels like we just sit around and enjoy each other's company and have a great time watching the kids have fun. This particular weekend it was warm enough to go swimming. Max, Henry and Timmy were the first to get their feet wet.

Lukey decided to join in the fun as well.

I'm not sure this is in the right order, but the paddle boat also got in the water. Aunt Kathy was a good aunt as always and took Sophia and, I think, that's Luke for a boat ride, as well as other kidos. There were a number of boat rides that weekend.

Randy and Alex, relaxing and watching the swimmers.

The boys were surprised and happy to have Uncle Dale jump in with them.

Everyone loves a golf cart ride, and this weekend was no exception. (In the back, Max, Timmy, Henry. In the front Sophia, Luke and Alex).

Luke had lots of fun playing on the riding lawn mower, snowmoblie, 4 wheeler and whatever else looked like it could drive. He loved it with clothes on . . .

and with clothes off. ( After he had been swimming, he was fast enough to get away before we got his clothes on).

This time tractor rides were also part of the fun. Lukey got the first ride, but I wasn't fast enough to get a picture. But Timmy had fun getting his ride.

Henry also had fun, but couldn't handle the noise, so spent most of the ride with his hands over his ears.
